| Light Therapy Shows Results for Acne Treatment |
We all know that natural acne treatment works, but over how much time and at what cost? Over the past few years a new form of acne treatment has been taking the world by storm.
Laser Photodynamic Therapy or PDT is used to kill acne-forming bacteria by way of short bursts of light. This treatment is applied by a doctor and is started by first applying a chemical to the skin (ALA - aminolevulenic acid) which immediately makes bacteria photoreactive. As a result, when the short bursts of laser light are applied the bacteria are quite literally obliterated.
After three treatments the results are dramatic and although this treatment is offered by only a handful of doctors, it has certainly made a mark on the medical community and many grateful patients.
The Center of Laser Surgery in Washington D.C. currently offers PDT for the treatment of acne.

| New Acne Treatment - Lux-V |
Lux-V may not be a cure to acne, however, results have been extremely promising. What is it? Lux-V is a light treatment system approved by the FDA for hair removal... yes, hair removal.
